Xiaomi has hinted at the imminent rollout of the MIUI 13 in India, after confirming that the update will be available for global models outside China. The Chinese tech giant’s latest MIUI 13 Android skin will be rolling out for a myriad of smartphones outside the company’s home country. However, Xiaomi is currently mum on its plan to roll out the update for smartphones in India. Nevertheless, the popular smartphone manufacturer is set to launch the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11S, along with the Redmi Smart Band Pro in the country on February 9.
There is a possibility that Xiaomi could shed more light on the MIUI 13 rollout schedule for India, and confirm the update’s availability for the Indian consumers at the impending launch event. The upcoming MIUI 13 boasts an impressive array of new widgets, live wallpapers, and more. Aside from that, it enhances performance. Furthermore, the MIUI 13 will reportedly come with improved algorithms to enable better management of the system resource, longer battery life, and better multitasking.
Xiaomi Teases MIUI 13 For Indian Consumers
Taking to its official Twitter account on February 1, Xiaomi shared a teaser poster that shows older MIUI numerals on phones displays. Aside from that, the teaser has the text, “It’s 13 o’clock! Guess what’s coming?” Last week, Xiaomi announced that the MIUI 13 update has started rolling out for the first set of devices, as part of the updates’ global rollout.
