Realme GT Neo 3 Shows Appearance Similar To OnePlus 9

The GT series can’t be attributed to gaming smartphones but it has some gaming elements. This refers not only to the appearance but also to the specs. This is especially visible in the Realme GT Neo 2 launched in 2021. Though it appeared in select markets only such as China and India, the overall feedback was positive. That’s why the company has decided to bring a follow-up model. According to various sources and leaks, the so-called Realme GT Neo 3 will hit the market in March or April 2022. We should admit that till the date there have been only a few pieces of information about this model. But today, @AlexTechetc uploaded a render of the phone. Plus, a Weibo blogger disclosed some key features of the handset.

The phone’s render showcases that the Realme GT Neo 3 will have an appearance of a gaming smartphone. For instance, on the right edge, we can clearly see shoulder trigger buttons. Of course, if they are there, the manufacturer will allow users to customize them so that they can use them more comfortably in various situations. Also, we can see a silver back panel with a Black and Yellow thick line below the camera module.

On the rear, the Realme GT Neo 3 still adopts a triple-camera design. Though we have no exact information about the camera, as some rumors claim, the phone will sport either a 64MP or a 50MP main camera sensor. The rest two sensors are expected to be an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor.

In terms of hardware, the Realme GT Neo 3 will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. This is a top-end chip that is believed to outrun the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Other than that, there will be a 5000mAh battery, which should support 125W fast charging. While many Samsung fans might think it’s a marketing gimmick or so (the S22 only supports 25W charging), OPPO already announced such technology back in 2021.

For such a handset, the screen parameters are very important. But we still have nothing to share with you. Anyway, the previous model’s parameters could be useful. The GT Neo 2 came with a 6.62-inch display. So there is every reason to think the Realme GT Neo 3 will sport something identical to it.
