Realme 9 Pro+

After much anticipation and several leaks, Realme is finally getting close to the release of the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ smartphones. These two handsets are coming with 5G connectivity and other compelling specifications like AMOLED and Optical Image Stabilization. Realme’s goal is certainly to fix the mistakes made by the past generation. In addition to compelling specifications, the company is also playing with style. The Realme 9 Pro+ will bring a gorgeous Sunrise Blue variant that features a Light Shift Design. If you saw the Vivo V23 series with color-changing back, you know what we’re talking about. Today, the device has been leaked in all its glory and we can have a closer look at this color-changing back.

Realme’s Light Shift Design changes the rear panel’s cover from light blue to red. This has been revealed through official videos before, now, however, we have live images showing the effect. The image comes straight from a Realme employee that can’t wait for the official launch to disclose the novelty. The result is really interesting as the device changes its color from blue to a pinkish-red finish.

The colorway brings a glittery pattern like that on the Realme 6 and on the Realme GT 5G in Dashing Silver and Dashing Blue colorways. We can clearly see the device’s rear changing its color when exposed to sunlight. Interestingly, we can notice that in one of the images, the Realme employee had his hand on the back of the device. The result is that this small portion changed its color back to blue. Worth noting that the camera’s island isn’t changing its color.
