The Realme 9 Pro+ smartphone’s camera specifications have been tipped before the phone’s scheduled to launch later this month. Realme is on the verge of unveiling its next mid-range Realme 9 Pro series in India and Europe. Moreover, the upcoming lineup will include two smartphones carrying the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ monikers. However, before these handsets go official, the Realme 9 Pro+ phone’s camera specifications have been leaked.

Taking to Twitter, noted leaker Yogesh Brar divulged key details of the Realme 9 Pro+ smartphone’s camera specifications. First off, the tipster claims that the phone will be housing three cameras at the back including a 50MP f/1.9 Sony IMX766 sensor. Furthermore, Yogesh suggests this main camera will support OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). Aside from that, the phone’s rear-mounted camera setup will comprise an 8MP Sony IMX355 camera, with an f/2.5 ultrawide lens, along with a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

The phone’s f/2.5 ultrawide lens delivers 119-degree of FoV. Upfront, the Realme 9 Pro+ will house a 16MP f/2.45 Sony IMX47 camera with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation) support. Moreover, Realme claims that the Realme 9 Pro+ phone’s camera will as good as the sensors on some of the existing flagships. In fact, the Shenzhen-based company suggests that the photos captured using the 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera will be on par with pictures clicked from the Google Pixel 6.

Images of alleged Realme smartphone retail boxes surfaced online not too long ago. The leaked images were shared via a Telegram group (via Gadgets 360). Furthermore, the images reveal the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ smartphones’ prices in India. Aside from that, they confirm the model numbers of the upcoming Realme smartphones. Both the handsets are set to launch in India on Wednesday, February 16. If the aforesaid images are anything to go by, the Realme 9 Pro starting price in India will be INR 18,999.
Likewise, the Realme 9 Pro+ price in India could start from INR 24,999. To recall, an earlier leak indicated that the 8GB RAM+128GB storage variant of the Realme 9 Pro+ will set you back INR 20,999, and the phone’s base model with 4GB RAM+128GB storage will carry a price tag of INR 16,999. However, the latest leak suggests that the phone could be slightly more expensive. Lastly, the Realme 9 Pro carries model number Realme RMX3472, while the Realme 9 Pro+ Indian variant has model number Realme RMX3393.

The Realme 9 Pro+ will reportedly sport a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Aside from that, the screen has a punch-hole cutout at the center to house the selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone will pack a Dimensity 920 chipset. Moreover, this processor will be paired with up to 8GB of RAM. Also, the phone will ship with up to 256GB of onboard storage capacity. A robust 4,500mAh battery will be powering up the entire system.
