VIVO X80 Pro To Be The Most Powerful Camera Phone Sporting Dimensity 9000

VIVO X80 Pro

VIVO has managed to release many interesting smartphones this year. But the company’s annual flagship is not out yet. We are talking about the X series, which is the company’s most popular and most important line. We know that the next-gen VIVO X80 is on the road and will hit the stores quite soon. But there was no reliable information concerning the exact launch date. Anyway, today, a Weibo blogger revealed the key features of the device.

VIVO X80 Pro Features

According to him, VIVO’s next-generation X-series camera flagship VIVO X80 Pro will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. At the same time, this handset will sport a 6.78-inch 2K+ OLED flexible curved screen. Under the hood, it will host a 4700mAh battery with an 80W wired and 50W wireless flash charging support.

One of the biggest highlights of the machine is that it will be among the first models coming with the much-talked MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship processor. This chipset adopts TSMC’s 4nm process and consists of 1 Cortex-X2 super core, 3 Cortex-A710 large cores, and 4 Cortex-A510 small cores. At the same time, it integrates the ARM Mali-G710 GPU. In effect, its comprehensive score in AnTuTu exceeded 1 million points. In other words, this chip is the direct rival of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 11. Moreover, thanks to some optimizations, it doesn’t suffer from the heating problem, as its rival does.

Besides the AnTuTu results, we also know that it was spotted in GeekBench. In this benchmarking platform, the phone scored 1248 and 4191 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

Another highlight of the phone is its great video recording capabilities. The whole series will come with VIVO’s self-developed imaging chip V1. This chip can serve the needs of imaging applications such as photography and video at the same time. When shooting video, facing a large number of complex operations, the V1 chip has an exponential improvement in energy efficiency.

In addition, the VIVO V1 chip has a dedicated algorithm that reduces the power consumption of the hardware circuit by 50%.

By the way, the series’ camera system has been jointly developed by Zeiss. Thus, you can expect all those goodies that usually this photography brand brings. However, at the moment, we don’t know what exactly it will offer.

The VIVO X80 series will come with the Dimensity 9000 chip and boast the best image performance so far. It ought to hit the market in April.
