ZTE Axon 40 Ultra will bring five industry-unique features

ZTE’s upcoming flagship phone, the Axon 40 series, is scheduled to be released on May 9. Recently, Mr Ni Fei, senior vice president of ZTE and president of the terminal business unit, said in an online interview that he has high hopes for the new ZTE Axon 40 Ultra. He also claims that this smartphone will bring five unique features to the industry. Unfortunately, he did not exactly say the features that this device will bring.

The camera department of this device will bring a significant upgrade. This area will probably bring one or more of the unique features of this device. The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra will have three main cameras which all support 8K videos. The three main cameras have preset focus, dual Sony sensors and dual full-pixel omnidirectional focus. Therefore, the Axon 40 Ultra is also ZTE’s strongest imaging flagship phone to date.

In terms of camera configuration, the three lenses of ZTE Axon 40 Ultra come with 64MP flagship CMOS. The main camera and ultra-wide-angle are both Sony IMX787, with a 1/1.73-inch photosensitive unit. It uses a single-pixel size of 0.8μm, and the camera supports all-pixel omnidirectional focusing and optical image stabilization.

In other respects, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra will come with an under-screen front camera. This device uses the next-generation under-screen camera bringing a stronger visual impact to the mobile phone. The new phone will also come with an infrared remote control sensor, which can control home appliances at any time. The Dual-channel VC liquid cooling improves the heat dissipation and battery life of this device. It also improves the energy efficiency ratio of mobile phones.

The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra completely removes any trace of the front camera. The top and bottom bezels are also ultra-thin, having the same thinness. Furthermore, the right and left bezels are equally the same in thickness. The overall visual effect is very good and looks very harmonious.

According to reports, ZTE will launch a high-resolution under-screen camera technology this time. It will be the industry’s first under-screen camera flagship with a high-resolution screen. It is worth noting that the high resolution here is not 2K resolution, but a custom resolution between 2K and 1080P. This camera is more delicate and better than the current 1080P under-screen camera technology on the market.
