Realme GT Neo 3 launched with 12GB/512GB for $432

Realme has launched the Naruto edition of Realme GT Neo 3 to appeal to anime fans and also to enthusiasts of special editions. The device is cool with a unique design and special goodies including a unique scroll box. However, the device comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and that isn’t the best possible, at least not anymore. The Naruto edition certainly stole all the attention, but Realme, as expected, also unveiled a new variant of the phone on May 26. The new variant packs 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of Internal Storage. This will be the holy grail for those who don’t to be concerned about keeping large files, large apps, and everything on their smartphones. Even at the current date, it’s hard to fill a smartphone with that amount of storage.

The phone’s highest version comes in the 150 W charging flavor. Therefore, you’ll need to choose between 512 GB of storage and a 5,000 mAh battery. 150 W is certainly fast, but the 4,500 mAh capacity may leave some users… bored. The 5,000 mAh battery still has a very fast 80 W charging. Unfortunately, this variant will still be capped to 256 GB of Storage. The 512 GB variant will come with a price of CNY 3,200 which translates to around $475. However, the company will be adopting a CNY 2,900 ($432) price for the first pre-orders.

Realme is also cutting the prices of the Realme GT Neo 3 to make it even more attractive. The Realme GT Neo 3 comes from the “cost-effective” flagship territory and certainly has a lot of “pros”. The device with 80 W charging, 8 GB, and 128 GB of storage now costs $315 in China. Unfortunately, the 128 GB may be a drawback for some users. Other storage versions are also getting special discounts. The 150 W variant has a base model with 8 GB and 256 GB that now costs just $360.

Apart from the special Naruto goodies, the phone is the same as a regular 150W edition of the Realme GT Neo 3. That means the phone has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 2,412 x 1,080 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. The phone has a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP main camera with OIS. There is also an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16 MP shooter. This is the only Realme smartphone with a centered punch-hole.

The phone also has stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.3 support, and Wi-Fi 6. It runs Android 12 OS with Realme UI 2.0 running on the top. The variant with 150 W charging comes with 150 W charging. There is also a variant with “slower” 80 W charging that has a bigger 5,000 mAh battery. However, this option is not available with the Naruto treatment.
