OnePlus a few days ago announced a certain announcement for December 17th. Well, today is December 17, and today we can see the OnePlus 11 flagship for the first time. OnePlus has published a short taser video where we can see fragments of the design of the future flagship. Here we can see a round main camera unit with a Hasselblad logo in the center and an alert switcher that returns to OnePlus smartphones. Apparently, we have a green variant, which we previously saw in a press photo from OnLeaks. By the way, the design is fully confirmed. But there is no date for the announcement yet.
The new OnePlus 11 is among the upcoming announcements for the high end Android market. In the upcoming weeks, the new flagship will make its debut (without the “Pro” variant at first, at least for the Chinese market). The first official teaser for the new OnePlus 11 has just arrived directly from China. In fact, the company has teased the launching of the smartphone through Weibo by releasing a brief video without providing any specifics. However, the video supports numerous rumors that had surfaced in recent weeks regarding the smartphone. Let’s examine every aspect of the upcoming OnePlus flagship, which will arrive upon the OnePlus 10 Pro’s legacy.
OnePlus 11 first official teaser
The new OnePlus 11’s first teaser video verifies the accuracy of the renderings that initially surfaced online at the beginning of December and are included below. Thus, the new smartphone’s rear design is modified and represents an advancement for the flagships from OnePlus. Which will add a circular camera compartment to group the rear camera sensors. The Hasselblad brand, with which OnePlus continues its cooperation, will continue to appear on the camera module. A triple rear camera and an LED that will “fill” the circular module devoted to the photographic industry were also revealed. The graphic also reveals that the smartphone body would be glossy black. But it offers no other information on the smartphone.
OnePlus 11 specifications
The recent leaks have revealed a number of information about the smartphone. Which will undoubtedly rely on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, Qualcomm’s newest version of its top of the line chip. Which will ensure an additional speed increase. The SoC will be accompanied with different amounts of RAM and storage. With the highest model reportedly sporting 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Gizchina News of the week
Reportedly, the device will have a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 100 W rapid charging. Which is a step backwards in comparaison to the OnePlus 10T which reaches 150 W. However, the OnePlus 11’s 6.7-inch AMOLED screen should include QHD + resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. As previously announced, the camera will include triple rear sensors.
The 50 Megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor has been confirmed by the speculations of recent weeks. Therefore it should be the primary sensor for the smartphone. The specs sheet will also mention a 32 megapixel telephoto sensor and a 48 megapixel ultra wide angle sensor. Moreover, a 32 megapixel front camera will be available. However, further information is not yet available, and we are unsure of the precise characteristics of these sensors.
The teaser hinted that there will be a black version, but there would also likely be a green version and at least a third color option. The alert slider on the right side will be a feature of the forthcoming OnePlus 11. Android 13 is what we’ll find on the software side. The first formal confirmations regarding the new OnePlus 11’s technical characteristics may appear within the following several weeks. Soon, we learn more. The smartphone will launch in the first quarter of 2023. Initially in China and then, after a few weeks, in Europe.
OnePlus 11 prices
There is currently no accurate information available on the cost of the new OnePlus 11. The OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T list prices are the only indicators we have. The list price for the 10T is $719, compared to $900 for the original. The new OnePlus flagship should launch with a pricing that is more in line with the 10 Pro. Therefore, we can anticipate a debut pricing for the new OnePlus 11 that is close to but still below $1,000 for the entry level model. Once more, a formal confirmation will be made in the coming weeks.
