Recently, it was reported that YouTube has landed a new deal with NFL to bring the NFL Sunday Ticket games to YouTube prime and YouTube TV. This deal was followed with the rebirth of YouTube TV Referral program. This time around, YouTube has made it even more attractive than the previous program.
YouTube Referral Discount is Increased 
This time around, your YouTube referral link earns you more YouTube credits. Anyone who subscribes to the YouTube TV base plan of $64.99 using your referral link automatically earns you $45 bill credit. That’s not all in this new package. To attract more people to join using referral links, YouTube also gives them $15 off. This applies to anyone who joined using a referral link. Initially, this amount was just $10, it is now $15.
When YouTube launched the referral program earlier in January 2022, the amount of credit each person got for sharing referral link was $20. Now the Google owned company has added $25 more, making it $45.
YouTube also allows you to use the referral link as much as you want. However, the maximum amount of credit every user can get each year is $450.

As a YouTube TV subscriber, you get to use this discount each time you are paying for your subscription. Each month YouTube uses one of your discounts when billing your subscription. This means, if you have to pay $64.99, you only pay $19.99 because of your $45 discount.
YouTube Referral program Rules 
The YouTube referral program is only available to subscribers of YouTube TV. You cannot join the program if you haven’t subscribed to any of the YouTube TV packages.
To join the program, just tap on your profile avatar in the YouTube TV app, and tap on ‘refer a friend’. This works for new referrals only, and you only get the credit if the user subscribes to YouTube’s base subscription plan.
Also note that as a sender, you need to be a subscriber to the YouTube TV base plan and not the Add-on packages.
Paying your YouTube TV subscription using third party services such as phone bills also disqualifies you from this promotion.
Users who also use your links should be new users who have never joined using a referral link. Also users who have received such discounts on their accounts will not earn you the discount.
