Vivo X90 Pro global version visits Geekbench, key details revealed

The Vivo X90 Pro smartphone’s global variant has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website ahead of launch.

Vivo launched the X90 series smartphones in China last month. Notably, the X90 series comprises the Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+.

According to a leaked poster, the lineup’s global launch will take place in January 2023. In the meantime, the Vivo X90 Pro global variant has passed through the Geekbench benchmarking site.

First, the Geekbench 5 benchmark database confirms the global version of the X90 Pro has model number V2219. Moreover, the phone has visited EEC and Wireless Power Consortium databases (via MySmartPrice).

The upcoming Vivo X-series phone gained 1376 points in Geekbench 5 test’s single-core round. Likewise, it scored 4327 points in the multi-core round.

Also, the Geekbench listing confirms the presence of an octa-core processor. This chipset has a 1 + 3 + 4-core configuration and a peak frequency of 3.05GHz.

The Wireless Power Consortium listing features a render, which shows the full design of the Vivo X90 Pro. The listing suggests the phone will receive a maximum power of 11W. However, this could be a placeholder.

Regrettably, the EEC database listing doesn’t reveal any key details about the phone. Still, we know the phone’s specifications since it is currently available in China.

According to a Chinese tipster, the X90 Pro outperforms the X80 Pro as far as specs are concerned. The X90 Pro sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it packs a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC and an Immortalis G715 GPU. The phone has up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.

Moreover, the X90 Pro runs Android 13 with OriginOS 3 custom skin on top. A 4,870 mAh battery powers up the entire system. Notably, this cell supports 50W wireless and 120W wired charging.

Also, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor. For optics, the X90 Pro has a 50MP IMX866 main camera on the back. Aside from this, the rear panel has a 50MP portrait lens and a 12MP ultrawide sensor.

Upfront, there’s a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calling. Lastly, the phone’s dimensions are 164×74.5×9.3mm and it weighs 215 grams.
