Tecno POP 7 Pro with Helio A22 gets a launch date for the Indian market

Tecno, Transsion’s mid-to-high-end mobile phone brand, announced yesterday that the Tecno POP 7 Pro will be released in India on February 16, 2023. Tecno POP 7 Pro was released in Nigeria and Uganda earlier last month. It is uncertain whether the Indian and Nigerian versions of the phone are similar. However, the industry thinks that this phone will have a 6.56-inch display. This phone will also have a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset and a 5000 mAh battery.

According to previous reports, the Tecno POP 7 Pro will include a 6.56-inch HD+ waterdrop display. This display will have a refresh rate of 60Hz. In terms of cameras, this gadget will include a 5MP sensor on the front and a 13MP shooter on the back. The Tecno POP 7 Pro will be powered by the HiOS 12 operating system on top of Android 12.

This device will also have 3GB / 4GB of RAM in addition to the MediaTek Helio A22 octa-core SoC. This gadget will support up to 64GB of storage capacity. The 5000 mAh battery can only handle 10W charging. At best, these are entry-level specs, and the device should be quite cheap.

Transsion Tecno Pop 7 Pro mobile phone launched in Nigeria and Uganda

Transsion Tecno has launched the new Pop 7 Pro mobile phone in two African markets. The phone is already available for purchase in Nigeria and Uganda. The Spark Go 2023 appears to be a really similar to this device, maybe a rebrand.   The Pop 7 Pro mobile phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 CPU. It also features a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720p and a 20:9 aspect ratio. This gadget also has a HiOS 12 operating system that is based on Android 12. On the rear, there is a 13MP primary camera and a secondary camera. This device also comes with a front 5MP selfie camera and a USB Type-C port.

The 5000 mAh battery in this Transsion phone allows for 10W charging. The RAM configuration includes 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. As for the price, the Nigerian version of this device sells for 64,000 Nigerian Naira (about $139).
