Introducing Doogee S100 Rugged Phone – Stellar Performance, Solid Battery, And A Great Camera Set

Doogee S100

Doogee has always made phones to match the specific demands of a particular demographic. With that said, the company is getting ready to launch another rugged phone dubbed Doogee S100. Just like the previous rugged phone models from the manufacturer, the S100 comes with a hardened exterior and a bunch of interesting features geared toward outdoor lovers.

Let’s start with performance – the Doogee S100 runs on MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. Built on TMSC’s 6nm technology process, it comes with advanced energy efficiency and is currently the fastest 4G chipset on the market. With its eight cores, it’s the perfect balance between power efficiency and performance.

As for the memory setup, the S100 comes with an unprecedented 12 GB base RAM. This is the biggest amount of RAM on any rugged phone currently on the market. And it gets better, because using the extended RAM feature, it can reach 20GB. For storage, the S100 comes with a capacity of 256GB of fast UFS 2.2 storage which is expandable up to 2TB for extra storage space.

Long lasting behemoth

Aside from the fun features most Doogee phones possess, they are also known for having large battery capacities. And so does the S100 with a 10800mAh battery. That much power is capable of delivering  17.5 hours straight hours of streaming, 55 hours of call and playing music continuously for 43 hours on a single charge. The 66W charger bundled with the S100 can charge it up to 60% in just half an hour.

The S100’s display is a 6.58-inch 120Hz FHD+ IPS panel with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass as protection. Its 20:9 aspect and 401PPI pixel density allow for a greater work area with rich and vibrant colors.

The camera bump on the back of the phone houses three cameras as well. These include a 108MP primary sensor, 20MP night vision camera and a 16MP ultra-wide camera. It is safe to expect some good pictures from the 108MP primary sensor. On the back, there are two infrared emitters to aid the night vision capture of the best monochrome pictures. To complete the set, a 32MP camera on the front serves as the selfie camera.

Rugged beast at its best

Following the usual pattern, the S100 is IP68 and IP69K rated against submersion in water. It is also MIL-STD-810H certified against drops and extreme weather. Out of the box, it runs the Android 12 OS. The rest of the features include NFC with support for Google pay, a side fingerprint sensor combined with the power button, four navigational satellite support, dual nano sim card support, and a TF card slot.

The S100 can be expected to launch on AliExpress and Doogeemall from March 20th – 26th.
