Xiaomi EOS List: list of devices that will not receive MIUI updates

Xiaomi has recently updated its list of devices that have reached the end of their support period. This means that these devices will no longer receive any more MIUI or Android updates. The updated list includes six new devices from the Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO families. The company updates this list several times throughout the year. Typically, the list includes older models that the brand no longer supports and that were available more than two or three years ago.

The company has published an end of support list on its official website, reflecting the changes. The list now includes Xiaomi 11 Lite, Xiaomi Mi 10s, Poco F3, Poco F3 GT, Poco X3 GT, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+. Although these models may receive occasional updates in the coming weeks to correct errors or improve operation, the company will no longer develop new firmware for them. As a result, only updates whose development has already been released will be available for these devices.

Android security patches for the listed devices won’t be corrected. This means that security vulnerabilities and gaps may appear in the device software. None of the seven models will be updated to the future version of MIUI. This version will nor arrive at the end of this year or the beginning of next year. Their users will have to settle for the latest version of MIUI available, which is MIUI 14.

If you own one of the devices mentioned earlier, you won’t receive new updates. This includes important security patches. So, you should be aware of this. It’s important to keep your device updated for security reasons. Therefore, you may want to consider upgrading to a newer device. By doing so, you will continue to receive software updates and ensure your device’s security.

    I bought a new F3 a year ago for my son. It no longer will get updates. . I think it’s time to get off the Xiaomi train,. They just are no longer the value they were in the past.
