Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is set to launch its latest smartphone, the Redmi Note 12R Pro, on the 29th of April. The Redmi 12R Pro will be an addition to the already existing Redmi 12 series. As usual, we expect to see a range of exciting features.
Specs of the Redmi Note 12R Pro 
One of the standout features of the Redmi Note 12R Pro is its camera system. The phone will feature a 48MP sensor as its main camera. However, we are yet getting any information on the second camera. According to other sources, the second camera could be a macro lens or a depth sensor. The camera setup will be housed in a rectangular camera bump at the back, along with an LED flashlight.
The smartphone will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. This will be a bit different from the under-display fingerprint scanners the company used in other Redmi 12 series. The power button will therefore act as the fingerprint scanner. The phone will come with an OLED display, similar to the other Redmi 12 series.
