To be exact, Carl Pei said, “With the U.S. being a very Apple-dominated market with no real option for people looking for an alternative, it represents a good opportunity for Nothing Phone (2).” And to make the phone a proper alternative to iPhones, Nothing has carefully selected the device’s internals.

We already know that Nothing Phone (2) will come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. In a recent tweet, Pei mentioned that it is a “proven processor.” Pei also said the device would primarily focus on user experience rather than joining the specs race. Other than that, Carl Pei has confirmed that the phone will sport a 4700mAh battery.

Nonetheless, the main factor is that Nothing Phone (2) will be official in just a few weeks. And hopefully, it will debut with a very competitive price point.
