While Windows Copilot was released on September 26, it is currently not available for everyone. Currently, it is only accessible to users in the United States, the United Kingdom, and select countries in Asia and South America.
Due to privacy laws, Microsoft has limited the availability of Copilot in Europe at the moment. But they plan to make it available in more places, not just in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Copilot is an innovative feature within Bing Chat that seamlessly integrates with popular Windows apps and tools, including Microsoft Office, Paint, Photos, and Windows Settings. Its functionality runs on advanced language models such as ChatGPT developed by Microsoft.
The Windows Copilot feature is integrated into all versions of the Windows 11 Moment 4 update, but it might be hidden in some regions, so you won’t see it on your taskbar or settings. Microsoft officials have explained that Copilot in Windows is initially available in North America, the United Kingdom, and some parts of Asia and South America. They intend to make it available in more markets in the future.

- Open Notepad on your Windows 11 PC or any other word editing app and create a blank file with the name “Copilot.exe“.
- Place the new Copilot.exe file on your desktop or pin it on your taskbar and right-click on it.
- Select Properties from the list.
- Next, change the target under properties of Copilot.exe to the following path:
C:\Windows\explorer.exe “microsoft-edge:///?ux=copilot&tcp=1&source=taskbar
- Now, all you need to do is to click on this new application (Copilot.exe). This will open Microsoft Copilot on you PC.
- To change the logo and use a real Copilot logo, click on this link to download and use the logo on your PC.
Microsoft Copilot is Not Fully Complete 
Copilot is essentially Bing Chat running on Windows 11 in a WebView interface. It is powered by Microsoft Edge, and it’s not worth going through the trouble. Microsoft Copilot has the potential to be a game changer in the computing landscape, but it currently doesn’t work correctly and achieving a ‘useful’ result isn’t easy.
In its current state, Copilot isn’t sure what to do with several prompts. It can go back and forth between Bing’s AI-powered search engine or AI-powered Cortana-like assistant and fail to do anything.
The Copilot preview doesn’t support deeper Windows integration or third-party apps and plugins, but Microsoft says the AI will eventually improve.
