Edifier W820NB

Edifier has recently unveiled two wireless earbuds: the TWS1 Air and Zero X TWS. But it seems that those weren’t the only audio solutions that the brand had in mind for this month. It has also unveiled the Edifier W820NB.

At the core, the Edifier W820NB is a pair of budget-friendly wireless headphones that come with premium features. These premium features include superior audio performance, comfortable design, and, most importantly, spatial audio. The headset offers all that for just CNY499, which is around US$68.

Key Highlights of Edifier W820NB

Among the main highlights, one of the biggest standouts of Edifier W820NB is the support for Hi-Res Audio. It also boasts the Hi-Res Audio Wireless gold label certification. This will let you hear every little detail of the audio playback. But that’s not all!

Hi-Res Audio certifications

The Edifier W820NB also features 360-surround sound tech, letting you stay fully immersed in your favorite tracks. When it comes to design, the wireless headphones have a zero-pressure patented earmuff technology. This doesn’t only enhance the comfort but also makes the drivers inside perform better.

Design

On the note of comfort, the W820NB is eye-wear-friendly. Also, the built-in spatial audio feature comes with head-tracking technology. This tech optimizes the audio rendering, letting you get a much more realistic 3D sound.

In terms of connectivity, the Edifier W820NB features Bluetooth 5.3. Alongside the standard audio codecs, it brings LDAC, LHDC 5.0, and LHDCX. These codecs are generally found in the high-end wireless headphones. And as it has one of the latest Bluetooth standards, it has Bluetooth Multipoint.

Battery Life

The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) performance of the headset is great too. It can offer a noise reduction of up to 43 dB. Battery life-wise, the Edifier W820NB can offer up to 45 hours of runtime after a full charge. Overall, the headset is offering a lot for the money.
