Oppo ColorOS 14: The Ultimate Guide to the Global Roll-Out and Eligible Devices

ColorOS 14 based on Android 14

Oppo formally unveiled the ColorOS 14 custom skin, which is based on Android 14, for the global market at the beginning of this month. The enhanced Aquamorphic design, new themed ringtones, and redesigned system notification sound of the new custom skin make it an improvement over the previous iteration. The upgrade also includes improvements to the performance and stability of the system. The customized skin will also have a few productivity and security features.

ColorOS 14 Key Features

POLISHED USER INTERFACE

The upgraded user interface of Oppo ColorOS 14 is to be desired from an updated operating system. There are now standardized and polished components included. With a variety of standard capsules, bubbles, and panels, Oppo refers to this design as Aqua Dynamic Design. With minimal distraction, they appear from the status bar and provide functionality.

SMART CHARGING SYSTEM

The latest ColorOS 14 is capable of efficiently controlling device charging thanks to an AI system. By taking into account the device’s usage and its manner of use, it can modify the charging current. This will gradually lessen the deterioration of the battery, extending its life.

UPGRADED TRINITY ENGINE

Oppo devices now use the improved Trinity Engine thanks to Oppo ColorOS 14. The OS can now more effectively compress files and program data thanks to ROM Vitalization. It can save up to 20 GB of storage on a normal phone, to be precise. Better RAM Vitalization is also included with it.

PICTURE KEEPER AND SMART IMAGE MATTING

Privacy options for images kept on smartphones are introduced in Oppo ColorOS 14. Extra authorization is provided by the Privacy Keeper to see specific images and videos on the device. Concerning images, the new OS also offers Smart Image Matting, which can remove several humans and animals from a picture.
