The HONOR Magic 6 Pro comes in Black and Epi Green color options and in my case, I enjoyed the deep black variant. It features a sleek and stylish design, with a “squircle” camera bump that adds a unique touch to the device. The back of the phone is covered in a semi-glossy material that not only looks premium but also provides a grippy and fingerprint-resistant surface. The front of the phone boasts a quad-curved OLED display, which adds to the premium look and feel of the device. While some may not be fans of curved screens, the Honor Magic 6 Pro manages to strike a balance with its subtle curves.
Unboxing
When unboxing the Honor Magic 6 Pro, you will find a minimalist package that includes a USB-C cable and a SIM ejector tool. Honor has followed the trend of removing the charger from the box, which may disappoint some users – including myself. However, the Honor Magic 6 Pro still offers a premium unboxing experience, with its sleek packaging and attention to detail.
Display
The Honor Magic 6 Pro boasts a stunning 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display that is a joy to look at. With a resolution of 2800 x 1280 pixels and a pixel density of 453 PPI, the display offers crisp and vibrant visuals.
The LTPO technology allows the display to dynamically switch between 1 and 120Hz refresh rates, ensuring smooth scrolling and gaming experiences. With a peak brightness of over 1,500 nits, the Honor Magic 6 Pro’s display is also bright enough to be easily readable even under direct sunlight.
Camera
The camera system on the Honor Magic 6 Pro is another highlight of the device. It features a 50MP main camera with an adjustable aperture of f/1.4-2.0. This allows for greater control over depth of field and low-light performance.
The phone also sports a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 122° field of view, capturing stunning wide-angle shots. Whether you’re browsing the web, playing graphics-intensive games, or running multiple apps simultaneously, it handles all chores with ease. The phone also supports the latest connectivity standards, including Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, ensuring fast and stable connections.
Software
The Honor Magic 6 Pro runs on MagicOS 8.0, which is based on Android 14. While MagicOS may not be as well-known as other Android skins, it offers a clean and intuitive user interface.
The software experience on the Honor Magic6 Pro is stable and smooth, with smooth animations and responsive performance. Honor has also added some AI features to the software, such as Magic Portal, which allows for easy sharing of content between apps. Overall, the software on the Honor Magic 6 Pro is a step in the right direction for Honor, but there is still room for improvement.

This means that they can pack higher energy density in the battery, than other regular Li-Ion batteries. The phone is equipped with a lithium-silicon battery with a capacity of 5,600 mAh, allowing for all-day usage without the need for frequent charging. This makes it EASILY the battery champion – hands down. In everyday testing involving navigation, extensive scrolling, and media consumption, the Honor Magic 6 Pro consistently delivered impressive battery life, with around three to four hours of screen-on time and 50% battery remaining at the end of the day. You won’t find any other better flagship out there. Period.
When it does come time to charge the device, the Honor Magic 6 Pro supports fast charging at 80W via cable and 66W wirelessly, allowing for quick and convenient charging.
Audio Quality
The Honor Magic 6 Pro offers a high-quality audio experience, with stereo speakers that deliver clear and immersive sound. In addition, tts long-lasting battery and smooth performance confirm that it is a keeper in terms of value for money. There are areas where improvements can be made, such as the software experience and the lack of a bundled charger. However the overall package that the Honor Magic 6 Pro offers is hard to beat. If you’re in the market for a flagship phone that delivers on both style and substance, the Honor Magic 6 Pro is definitely worth considering.
