Store listing confirms display features and the primary camera of POCO X6 Neo

Poco X6 NEO announced

A few days back, POCO officially teased a new smartphone called the POCO X6 Neo, and just recently, the brand confirmed the launch date of the device. The mid-range is about to make its debut on March 13th, which is just two days away. But you don’t need to wait to learn about the display features and the smartphone’s primary camera.

As it turns out, the POCO X6 Neo has a promotional page on Flipkart, an online retailer and marketplace. This store listing has confirmed the primary camera and the display features of the smartphone. It even gave us a first look at the front and back of the smartphone.

The POCO X6 Neo Might Just Be A Rebrand of Redmi Note 13R Pro

Yes, you read that right. From all the official details we got on the POCO X6 Neo, it seems that the smartphone will be a rebrand of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R Pro. But this isn’t a new thing, as the regular X6, which launched two months ago, was a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13 Pro.

So, first of all, the front and the back of the POCO X6 Neo match with the Redmi Note 13R Pro. That is, both smartphones have the same design, with the back featuring two cameras. Among the two, one of the sensors is a 108 MP camera, which the Flipkart promo page has confirmed.

POCO hasn’t yet shared the details on the secondary camera of the X6 Neo. But it’s likely a 2 MP depth sensor, the same one found on the Redmi Note 13R Pro. We also see the same camera island design as the Note 13R Pro on the back.

Screen specs of POCO X6 Neo

Gizchina News of the week

As for the display, the Flipkart listing has confirmed that the POCO X6 Neo will come with a 120 Hz AMOLED screen with 1000 nits of peak brightness. Again, these screen specs match the display of the Redmi Note 13R Pro. As you can see from the image attached below, the front of the two phones look similar too.

But, yes, Xiaomi does make some tweaks on its rebranded phones sometimes. So, there’s a chance that we might not see an exact 1:1 copy with a different branding on the POCO X6 Neo. The good news is that you don’t need to wait long to find that out, as the phone is launching in just two days.

Which Phones Would be the Main Competitors?

From all the details we have, it’s pretty clear that the POCO X6 Neo will be an affordable mid-range device. But of course, Xiaomi’s POCO brand is more about affordability. So, the device could be around 260 EUR or $280, which is basically the Chinese launch price of the Redmi Note 13R Pro.

But the Redmi Note 13R Pro is a China-excluisve device, which is one of the reasons why Xiaomi is rebranding it under POCO. With this rebranding, the device will be available to more markets, starting with India. So, considering that it’s a launch of a China-exclusive device in other markets, the price could be in the $300 to $350 mark.

At this, the Realme 12 Pro would be the main competitor to the POCO X6 Neo. The recently launched Samsung Galaxy A35 could also stand as a competitor to this device.
