Galaxy Tab S7 lineup gets October 2020 Android security patch!

While we’re at the end of October month, Samsung decided to seed a new software update to the lineup. Well, the update is not the major one but it does bring the latest October 2020 Android security patch. Since it is a small and security update, the smartphone maker has rolled it out worldwide instead of few early markets. The firmware update carries the version TxxxXXU1ATJ4 and is hitting both LTE and 5G variant of the Galaxy Tab S7 series. If you own any of the tablets, then you might have already received the update notification.

If that’s not the case, then you can go ahead and download the update manually by heading over to Settings>>Software Update>>Download and Install. The software update does not weigh that much so you can also download it via mobile data if you want. With that said, the new firmware version doesn’t bring anything else but just improves the overall security of the device. It is worth noting that Samsung has been very quick this year when it comes to rolling out security patches to its devices.

Apart from this, the South Korean giant has also started providing the public beta of its One UI 3.0 software. The public beta has already been rolled out for the Galaxy S20 trio and Galaxy Note 20 duo. We’re expecting more devices to soon receive the same. If you’re wondering, what’s new with the One UI 3.0 update then let’s talk about a few quick additions. We will see new Bixby Routines, revert edits in Photo Editor, improved autofocus for S20 trio, trash bin in the Messages app, and more. While we’re not looking at massive additions, the new One UI 3.0 improves the user experience and further enhances it.
