Now that
Samsung and
Apple have parted ways, the
Korean electronics giant is looking to
Chinese phone makers to bring their
factories up to capacity again.
Since the iPhone launched, Samsung have been an integral partner with Apple producing components for the iOS phone and subsequently the iPad and iPod. But the partnership is no longer their, and Samsung have looking at a lot of manufacturing capability which is no longer running at maximum.
Samsung's solution is to look towards
Chinese phone makers to take up the slack buy supplying chips to manufacturers and even building
custom chips for larger
Chinese brands.
We have already seen an increase of
Samsung CPU use with
Chinese phone makers over the years.
Meizu have proven to be strong supports of Samsung, and
Newman are also using
quad-core Exynos chips, but as the year continues to unravel we might see other manufactures using
Korean chips.
