The iPhone XR manufacture is being moved to Foxconn

According to a fresh report, Apple is moving the manufacture of iPhone XR to Foxconn. Initially, the US company handed over 50% or 60% of the whole production of the "cheaper" iPhone XR, but due to the delayed shipments, the company was forced to switch their plans a little bit.

Pegatron another manufacturer will now deal with less than 30% of the iPhone XR manufacture. This is mostly because the company is struggling to keep up with the high demand, and is also experience a shortage of workers in its plants inside China. Furthermore, the JDI (Japan Display) is not being steady in what comes to providing the IPS displays in large demand.

The iPhone XR is set to be released on October 26, if Apple manages to sort out the manufacturing issues before the date. Worth noting that Foxconn is one of largest Apple suppliers, and of course, it should be prepared for a sudden increase in the manufacturing demand.
