Google may have put a
delay on releasing the
Android Honeycomb source code to
developers and manufacturers, but that hasn't stopped Taiwanese company
Asus publicly releasing it on it's
website.
Anyone can head over to Asus's
website now and
download the 97mb
Android Honeycomb code from the manufacturers site. The
download named Version V8.2.2.6 isn't a full Honeycomb coding so rival companies can't
download the code to install on their own
tablets, but there is enough in the file to allow application
developers to make
new or adapt current applications to run on the
new tablet optimized Honeycomb OS.
