Huawei Ascend Mate priced at $432 in China

The Huawei Ascend Mate is a huge 6.1-inch Android phablet, one which we thought would be priced out of reach for many buyers, this isn't the case though as the official price is $432.

Huawei held the official pricing and release date celebration for the 6.1-inch Huawei Ascend Mate yesterday. Members of the press and public were in attendance and witnessed Huawei's sense of humour first hand with the price of the Mate showing up as 3210 Yuan, then dropping to 2988 Yuan and finally settling at 2688 Yuan ($432).

The Mate boasts a 720p HD display, quad-core Snapdragon CPU, 2GB RAM, and 13 mega-pixel rear camera! That's a lot of phone for the price!
