Lenovo have been on a
Android tablet releasing frenzy, but so far the majority of the
Chinese firms
touchscreen devices have been running different variations of
Android 2.x. The K1, however will get a full
Honeycomb build, it's own
music store and a relatively low price.
The
Lenovo K1 will mark the company's first sub 3000 Yuan ($470) Honeycomb tablet, which is expected to launch very soon with pre-orders already being taken at
Lenovo flagship stores and Lenovo's online Taobao store.
The K1 will actually come with Android 3.1 along with more than 30 Chinese developed applications pre-installed.
Specification details haven't been fully released, but it is known the K1 will get a 1Ghz
dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU, plus a 2 mega-pixel
front camera and a 5 mega-pixel rear.
There will also be a choice of colour too including white, red, and grey.
