Motorola is finally making its move into the big-screen foldable market with the Razr Fold. While we first saw a glimpse of it at the big CES tech show earlier this month, the company has now officially announced it's coming soon. It’s a bit of a departure for Motorola, which usually sticks to the "flip" style phones, but this one opens up like a book to give you a much larger display for working or watching videos.

Screens for Every Task

The main attraction is the huge 8.1-inch screen inside. The inner screen looks amazing. Still, you won't need to open it much. The outer display is a solid 6.6 inches. It feels just like a normal phone. You can text or check the weather easily. It’s perfect for quick tasks on the go. They also made sure it looks sharp, offering two colours designed by Pantone: a dark, moody "Blackened Blue" and a bright "Lily White."

Professional Cameras in a Folding Frame

Usually, folding phones don't have the best cameras because they’re so thin, but Motorola managed to fit three 50-megapixel sensors on the back of this one. You’re getting a solid main camera, a wide lens for fitting more into your photos, and a zoom lens that lets you get 3x closer without the image getting blurry. It also films in Dolby Vision, which basically just makes the colours in your videos pop and look way more true-to-life. For video calls and selfies, there’s a 32-megapixel camera on the cover and a 20-megapixel one on the big inside screen.

Smarter Software Tricks

The AI label actually means something here. A feature called "Catch Me Up" summarises your missed alerts. This saves you from scrolling through a massive list. Another tool, "Next Move," predicts what you need. It might suggest saving an event to your calendar based on your screen. You can also use the Moto Pen Ultra. This lets you scribble notes or draw right on the big screen.

When Can You Get It?

Even with all the buzz, Lenovo is still keeping some details quiet. The design is out, but there’s no price or release date yet, and a full launch event is expected soon.
