Big Cola arrived on the scene just a few months ago with their low-cost dual-core, 5-inch Big Cola phone and like many they are gearing up for an update with a new 1080 quad-core model.
The original Big Cola was a 999 Yuan ($160) 5-inch phablet with dual-core MT6577 CPU, 5-inch 960 x 540 display, 1GB RAM and 5 mega-pixel rear camera, and although received tough competition from the Beidou Chi with similar specs, sold extremely well.
Now with quad-core CPU's being the must have item, Big Cola have decided their popular phone is in need of an update, and sources are claiming a 5-inch 1080 display and MT6589 CPU will make their way in to the new phone.
Like the current low-cost phone, the new 1080HD model with feature a similarly affordable price of around 999 Yuan ($160), and could cause some trouble for the UMi X2 which features similar specs!
