Nokia schedules a launch event for June 6 in Italy

We reported a while ago that HMD Global has a launch event scheduled for June 6 in India. The event in India is supposed to be the launch pad for the flagship Nokia 9 and the Nokia1 Plus, but it appears a similar event is holding somewhere in Europe.

Now, with a few days to go, the brand has today issued press invites for a launch event in Milan, Italy on the same day - June 6th. The invite a copy attached below read;

Sadly, the invite gives no hint on what product we will see on the said date, however, there are speculations we could see products entirely different from the ones lineup for India, with reports suggesting the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 5.2 could be the star of the event. There are speculations too that we might be seeing successors to the Nokia3.1, and Nokia2.1 which launched at about this time last year in Moscow. Speaking of the Nokia 6.2, reports suggest the device could just arrive certain markets as a re-branded version of the Nokia X71 which was first announced in China. We would have to wait for more more teasers/confirmation to get a glimpse of what is in the offing.
