MSI has shared news of two new 32-inch UHD
OLED screens with a 240Hz rate. The
models are named MPG 322UR QD OLED X24 and MAG 321UP QD OLED X24. Both use EL Gen 3 panels with a five-layer tandem OLED build.
This panel type is made to boost light use while keeping power draw in check. Each screen meets the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 mark, which shows support for deep black tones and steady light control.
The size and speed place these screens in the high-end class for users who want a large view space with fast refresh.
MSI says both models are built for daily use as well as long work or play hours.
DarkArmor film and screen care
A key new part is the DarkArmor film added to both screens. This layer aims to fix a known issue where QD OLED panels can turn red or purple under room light. With DarkArmor, MSI says pure black output can rise by up to forty percent.
This helps dark scenes look closer to true black even in bright rooms. The film also makes the screen surface harder. The hardness moves from 2H to 3H, which cuts the scratch risk and helps the panel last longer. MSI notes this gives up to two and a half times more scratch guard. The change also makes the screen easier to clean and keep in good shape during daily use.
Brightness control and extra tools
Both models support uniform bright tech, which deals with sharp light shifts often seen in HDR use. This system lets users set how bright the screen gets based on the window size. Smaller bright areas no longer cause sudden jumps that strain the eyes. This helps keep the light output steady and calmer to view.
The higher MPG 322UR model adds an AI Care Sensor. This tool uses an image sensor and NPU to track use and power state. It can turn on panel care steps when needed to lower burn-in risk. The MAG 321UP does not list this feature, but still keeps the core panel and film tech. With these screens, MSI aims to pair high speed, deep black, and long-term care in one large-format OLED display.
