ZTE's flagship
Nubia Z5 already costs almost $80 more than rival's Oppo and their Fine 5, but the
limited edition Titanium Nubia
Z5 will
cost almost three times as much!
The launch of the Nubia
Z5 in Beijing today really brings home the change in the
Chinese mobile
phone market! No longer are
Chinese phone customers looking at local brands as cheap alternatives to western models, and they are now looking at local brands more often for the latest specs and cutting edge technology.
ZTE's choice to launch their
32GB Nubia Z5 at the rather high price of 3450 Yuan is proof of the growing need for flagship
Chinese phone brands, but
news that they will also offer a
limited edition titanium model for 7890 Yuan ($1264) brings the point home further!
The Nubia
Z5 features a 5-inch 1080 display, Qualcomm 1.5Ghz
quad-core CPU,
2GB RAM,
3000mAh battery, 13 mega-pixel
rear camera and
Android 4.1
Jelly Bean.
Personally, I would prefer to pay the much lower 2999 Yuan for the Oppo Find 5 and use the rest of that money to go some place nice to try out the 120fps rear camera! what about you guys?
