OnePlus 2 owners, forget about Nougat update (at least officially)

Nope, it's not gonna happen guys. According to OnePlus, your beloved OnePlus 2 flagship killer won't be getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update - not ever, with the company mentioning that:
"Our customer service has been telling customers this for a little while"
... and added that:
"We’re happy about what we’re doing with software. We already confirmed Android O will come for the OnePlus 3 and 3T. So this isn’t new and we think people were aware of it."
Oh and if you wonder about WHY? The company replied that:
"When we built the OnePlus 2 we didn’t have the software infrastructure team in place we do now."
Anyway, that's what the officials say. I am pretty sure that 3rd party ROMS for OnePlus 2 will be available soon (if not already) with Android 7.0 Nougat.
