OnePlus Ace 6T Leaked Renders Show Minimal Changes in Design

OnePlus introduced its OnePlus Ace 6 in China last month as its cost-effective flagship for the Chinese market. The device landed alongside the OnePlus 15 in China, leading us to assume that it would eventually be released in international markets as the OnePlus 15R. There is now a new variant being teased for launch in China as the OnePlus Ace 6T. While the launch date is still under wraps, a new leaked render shows the phone's design. We have minimal changes compared to the recent flagships.

The leak comes from renowned tipster Evan Blass. He shared two official-looking renders of the OnePlus Ace 6T on X, revealing the phone's design. The handset features a punch-hole cutout at the top middle of the display. The power key is located on the right side of the frame, alongside the volume rocker. Interestingly, on the left side, there is a customizable Plus Key that debuted with the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6.

The OnePlus Ace 6T has flat frames and a metal build. In fact, its design is very reminiscent of the Ace 6, except that its flash module has a different design. Also, the camera island does not have any text written over it.

As the name may imply, the OnePlus Ace 6T is an improvement over the regular Ace 6. In fact, the device has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, which, in theory, might be better positioned than the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It's not on par with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but still, it will come for cost-effective flagships of 2026. The new flagship SoC was presented in September, but Qualcomm is actually launching it and disclosing its specs on November 26.

Besides the new chipset, the OnePlus Ace 6T will also include a 165Hz display, which is smoother than the Ace 6's 120Hz refresh rate. With key improvements in important areas, the OnePlus Ace 6T is now the expected candidate to become the OnePlus 15R outside of China. We don't know when the global launch will take place, but OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R, and a new OnePlus Watch on the same date.
