You can now lay back and expect a flurry of
8-core Chinese smartphone releases to take place in the coming weeks! Latest to join the
8-core bandwagon is the
Green Orange NX.
The
device, as expected, was released yesterday in China. Specifications include a 5.5 inch LG
1080p screen, 1.7GHz
8-core MT6592,
2GB RAM, 32GB ROM, BSI enabled SONY IMX135 13 mega-pixel rear
camera with F/2.0 aperture, 88 degree wide-angle 5 mega-pixel front-facing camera, 2,900mAh battery and the usual connectivity set with the addition of
NFC (via accessory). The
phone will come with Green Orange's own take on
Android, i.e., MyUI 2.0.
A range of
accessories for the
phone including
NFC leather holsters, smart bracelets, etc. will be made available to customers. The
device will come with a heavy
price tag of 2699 Yuan ($440) and will hit shelves in China on 5th December.
