Good news readers in Australia as here is a Chinese Android phone you will definetly be able to buy and use. The dual-core ZTE T81 is launching only in Australia and will offer a high powered CPU for a lowish price point.
It makes a change for me to be reporting on a Chinese smartphone that international users will have more chance buying than Chinese customers, but that is the case with the newly announced ZTE T81.
The ZTE T81 is a mid-range phone comprising of a powerful dual-core Snapdragon 1.5GHz CPU, 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM and will come installed with Android 4.0 Ice-cream Sandwich, which is similar to the Xiaomi M1s!
The rear camera is an 8 mega-pixel unit and there is also a front camera which can be used for video calls over Wi-fi and 3G.
It all looks very promising unless you are in the market for a high resolution screen as unfortunatly the ZTE T81 only get's a 4.3inch display with 549 x 900 resolution!
No news on the price of the ZTET81 or the launch date just yet.
