RedMagic 11 Pro Visits Geekbench With Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite 2

Qualcomm is unveiling the next Snapdragon flagship SoC next month. This year, the company went ahead of its former November time frame to bring its new flagship SoC in September 23. The market is constantly changing, and with the growing competition from MediaTek, the US chipmaker will unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite 2 earlier than usual. Some smartphone makers are expected to launch new flagships immediately after the launch, and RedMagic seems to be among them. The upcoming RedMagic 11 Pro was spotted in Geekbench with Qualcomm's upcoming SoC.

The RedMagic 11 Pro (Nubia NX809J) was spotted on Geekbench ahead of the launch of the chipset. It reveals some interesting details about it. Unsurprisingly, we are looking at an eight-core CPU.

It will bring 2 x Prime Cores clocked at 4.19 GHz and 6x performance cores running at 3.63 GHz.The prime core seems to be underclocked when compared to previous tests that revealed a 4.74 GHz clock. That's a standard process for unreleased hardware, and we believe that this test is closer to the final product.

Qualcomm is betting on a performance-focused chipset. However, nowadays, with the 3nm process and the modern Oryon cores, even the performance cores are efficient enough. Also, battery isn't a problem with smartphone makers testing the limits of the Si-C batteries. The Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite 2 managed an impressive 3,309 score on the single-core tests, and a whopping 10,742 on the multi-core department. It represents 5% and 9% gains compared to the previous RedMagic 10 Pro.

The RedMagic 11 Pro was tested with 16GB of RAM, and we suppose this is only one of the variants. The RedmiMagic 11 series, which likely includes a vanilla variant, will retain the built-in cooling fan but will also add IP68 dust and water resistance. We expect a huge battery with fast-charging technology.
