Xiaomi is ringing in
the New Year with a fresh look for one of its most popular smartphone lineups.
The company officially announced that the
Redmi Note 15 Pro series will
soon be
available in two striking new colours: Mocha Brown and Cherry Red. These new
versions are set to hit the shelves on January 1, giving fans a stylish way to
start the year.
New Look for the Pro Lineup
The addition of these colours
brings a premium feel to the mid-range series. The
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will
feature the sophisticated Mocha Brown finish, while the standard Pro model gets
the bold and vibrant Cherry Red. These options join the existing lineup to
offer more personality for users who want their device to stand out. Both
versions will be available for purchase starting at 10:00 AM on New Year's Day.
Powerful Performance and Displays
Under the hood, these phones still pack
a punch for the price. The top-tier Pro+ model runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4
chip, so everything from gaming to jumping between apps stays smooth and
snappy. If you go with the standard Pro, you’re getting the Dimensity 7400
Ultra, which is also a solid performer.
Both phones feature a beautiful
6.83-inch OLED screen that’s bright enough to see clearly even on a sunny day,
reaching a peak of 3200 nits. Plus, with a 120Hz refresh rate, scrolling feels
incredibly fluid and natural.
Battery Life and Durability
One of the best
things about the Note 15 Pro series is that you won't be constantly hunting for
a charger. The standard Pro model packs a massive 7000mAh battery that’s built
to last ages on a single charge. If you go for the Pro+, you also get extra peace
of mind with "Dragon Crystal Glass" and full waterproofing, making it
much harder to break if you drop it or spill something on it.
It’s a solid option for anyone who wants a phone that
can keep going without worry.
Camera and Value
For people who enjoy taking photos, the Pro+ comes with a
flexible triple-camera setup. It includes a 50MP main camera and a special
“Golden” telephoto lens that’s great for clean, portrait-style shots. Despite
offering these high-end features, the phones are still priced within reach. The
Pro starts at 1,399 yuan, while the Pro+ is selling for about 1,899 yuan.
With these new colours
hitting the shelves this week, Xiaomi is making it even easier to find a phone
that looks great without breaking the bank.
