Samsung is expanding its
One UI 8 stable update to more
phones, bringing the Android 16-based software to seven new models. The move
comes shortly after the
Galaxy XCover7 got the update last week, showing how
quickly Samsung is bringing the new features to more users.
Expanding
to Rugged and A-Series Phones
The update has now reached the tough
Galaxy XCover7 Pro, starting with firmware version BYI6 in South Korea. The rollout is expected to spread to other
regions soon as Samsung continues its steady software push. Users in other markets should expect the rollout to commence
shortly.
The
popular mid-range Galaxy A-series is also part of this wave. Both the Galaxy
A33 and
Galaxy A53 are receiving the new software in South Korea, with firmware
versions GYI3 and GYI2, respectively. This signifies a commitment to updating
key devices in the A-series lineup promptly.
M-Series and Regional Variants
Also Updated
Two
other major mid-range models, the
Galaxy M34 and the Galaxy M35, are
getting
the
One UI 8 update in the Indian market. The firmware versions for these
devices are M346BXXU8EYI8 for the M34 and M356BXXU5CY18 for the M35. This
focused regional launch suggests a strong push in important emerging markets.
The update also covers devices known
by different names across regions. The Samsung Galaxy Wide 7, which is marketed
as the Galaxy M15 in countries outside South Korea, is receiving the CYI6
firmware. Likewise, the Galaxy Quantum 3, sold globally
as the Galaxy M53, is now getting the update in South Korea with firmware
version GYI4.
