There is a muted excitement about the
Chuwi Hi12. This is a
tablet that promises blistering performance and dual-boot OS on a large 12 inch display.
Not being a fan of Windows it’s hard for me to say this, but here goes. The Chinese tablet market was in a slump until
Windows 10, there I said it. Over the past few years Chinese tablet makers have faced a real uphill battle, but try as they might interest in their wares was in decline, but now Windows 10 is in the picture and things are looking up.
The latest from Chuwi is the Hi12, a 12-inch tablet boasting a powerful Intel Cherry Trail 64bit quad-core chipset, 4GB RAM and 64GB memory. The top of the range version even comes with a stylus for some on-screen doodling!
Chuwi say that the 2160 x 1440 resolution tablet, will come with Windows 10, meaning you can use this as an office tool, but plans to also release an Android OS option and enable dual-boot in the future.
Prices start at $249.99 for the standard version, while the stylus equipped version costs $299.80. Both models have gold finished metal bodies, 11,000mAh battery, 5 mega-pixel rear cameras, and 3:2 ratio display.
