HP Touchpad Now Only $99 But Not in Europe of the UK

The big news this weekend is that HP are quitting the hardware and WebOs game. This means all of those people who bought HP phones and HP Touchpads over the months can look forward to a life of 0 updates, bugfixes and likely lack of new applications!

The good news however is that you can pick up a 13Gb HP Touchpad in Canada and the US for $99! and the 32Gb for $149! The online HP Store is already showing sold out though and it seems Bestbuy are running out also (even with that huge amount of unsold stock).

Not all retailers have followed suit though, as Amazon are still showing Touchpads at full price.

Gadget fans in Europe and the UK shouldn't get too excited either as there has been no word on when or if the huge price drop will land there.
