Coolpad 9976A, an 8-core 7-inch phablet or tablet?

At today’s Mediatek launch we didn’t get to see the rumored 7-inch Coolpad, but further leaks suggest the beast is merely waiting in the shadows!

At a whopping 7-inch we have no idea if we should call the Coolpad 9976A a phablet of tablet with call capabilities, but at that size we can sure of one thing! It is going to be one surfboard of a phone!

Although the actual phone has managed to evade cameras, leaked details of its specifications have managed to find their way on to the blogosphere. From the details we can see that the new Coolpad will have Android 4.2.1, run an 8-core MT6592 at 1.7Ghz, have 2GB RAM, 8GB memory, SD memory expansion, 5 mega-pixel front camera, 13 mega-pixel rear and a display with 1920 x 1200 resolution!

Coolpad are one of the largest phone makers in China and are known for selling phones at higher prices, so we can expect to see the 9976A cost upwards of 2800 Yuan!
