Robot Waiters Cycle in to Chinese Restaurants

Robotic waiters have been employed to ride bicycles around a busy hotpot restaurant in Jinan, . The 11 waiters cycle around the restaurant serving up cold bottles of beer, entertain and usher people to their seats.

Chinese hotpot is not like the hotpot from the West. The name seems more of a literal translation of how the food is prepared. A metal bowl is filled with hot water and heated from beneath. Once the water is boiling restaurant goers add meat, fish and vegetable boiling the food to perfection right at their own tables.
