TECNO is highlighting the customization potential of its experimental mobile AI agent, EllaClaw, through a new collaboration with technology media outlet Digital Trends. The showcase focuses on how agentic AI could fit into the everyday workflows of journalists and content creators.
The demonstration, presented in Hong Kong on September 23, covers four different use cases: news research, script creation, personalized writing, and social media content checks.

TECNO EllaClaw: Four Workflows For Content Creators

The first workflow, News Background Research, is designed to help journalists researching developing stories. Users can share a topic with EllaClaw, which can then search selected news sources and organize the findings into a structured brief. The brief can include background information, recent developments, different perspectives, and source references. TECNO says the results can be saved to the phone's Notes app, with an audio version also available for users who prefer to listen to the information.

The Research-to-Script workflow can turn research into storyboards and script ideas. It also supports multiple languages and can create related creative assets. This can help reduce the work needed to turn research into finished content.
EllaClaw can also learn a creator's writing style. With Personal Writing Style, users provide writing samples for the AI to analyze. It then creates a style profile that can be used for content on different platforms. Users can update the profile with new samples and feedback.
Finally, Social Media Risk-Word Check reviews content for wording that may cause problems on different social platforms. This gives creators a chance to make changes before publishing while keeping the main message intact.

More Flexible Mobile AI

These four examples show how EllaClaw can handle several related tasks, not just single prompts. TECNO developed these workflows with Digital Trends for journalists and content creators. However, the company says EllaClaw could also be adapted for other jobs and everyday tasks.

Key Points

  • TECNO is showcasing four new EllaClaw AI workflows.
  • Digital Trends developed the workflows.
  • EllaClaw can research news stories and create structured briefs.
  • It can turn research into scripts and storyboards.
  • The AI can learn a user's writing style from examples.
  • It can also check social media content for risky wording.
  • Users can review and edit AI-generated content before publishing.
Digital Trends Media Group President Adrian Boly said the project is an early look at how mobile AI can adapt to each user. Instead of using only fixed features, EllaClaw can be tailored to different needs.
TECNO says EllaClaw works as a digital co-pilot. Users stay in control. They can review, edit, and approve AI-generated content before publishing it. The showcase also gives an idea of TECNO's plans for EllaClaw. The company wants the AI to handle more complex, multi-step tasks. However, these tools are not meant to replace people. They are designed to handle repetitive work while users make the final decisions.
