Vivo are full of
surprises today! Earlier we learned that their
new phone would be named the
Vivo Xplay 3S and now we have discovered it will pack an amazing
2560 x 1440 resolution
display!
Vivo are up to something special with their
new flagship
phone. Earlier today they announced via Weibo that the
new phone will be so advanced they have decided to skip naming it the
Xplay 2 and go right to
Xplay 3S, and now more details have emerged related to the specification.
From the above
images posted on Weibo, we can see that the Vivo
Xplay 3S will not only be equipped with 4G
LTE, and a 2.3Ghz processor (probably a
Snapdragon 800) but may well also me the world’s first
smartphone to have a resolution of 2560 x 1440!
This year has been flooded with
1080 phones which already offer amazing visuals and crisp images, are we already in need of
2K phones? Or is this just overkill for a smartphone?
