Xiaomi 17T Leak: Big Batteries, Fast Charging, and Flagship Power Incoming

New leaks are giving a pretty clear picture of what the Xiaomi 17T series could look like. Both the standard and Pro models seem focused on three things: performance, battery life, and better cameras. Nothing too flashy in design talk yet, but the hardware upgrades are pretty noticeable.

Xiaomi 17T Coming with Dimensity 8500 Ultra and a Large 6500mAh Battery

The regular Xiaomi 17T is expected to come with a 6.59-inch flat 1.5K display. It should run on the Dimensity 8500-Ultra chip, which is aimed at solid everyday performance and gaming without overheating or slowing down. Battery life is one of its strongest points, with a large 6500mAh cell paired with 67W fast charging.

For cameras, the setup looks pretty capable for its class. You get a 50MP main sensor using the Light Hunter 800 system, a 12MP secondary lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x zoom.

Xiaomi 17T Pro Coming With Premium Specs

The Xiaomi 17T Pro takes things further in almost every area. It’s expected to feature a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K flat display and run on the more powerful Dimensity 9500 processor. Battery capacity also jumps to 7000mAh, along with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, which is a big step up in convenience.

The camera hardware is also improved. The Pro model uses a 50MP Light Hunter 950 main sensor with a larger 1/1.3-inch size, plus a 12MP lens and a 50MP 5x telephoto camera.

The specs are fairly familiar to what we saw in the Redmi Turbo 5 series. However, there are some differences in the battery capacity and the camera optics. The T-series has smaller batteries, but exceed their Redmi siblings in the camera department.

There is still no official word on a launch date, but with the leaks intensifying, it shouldn't take much long.
