ZTE hinted that they would use
MWC as the time and place to
launch the
zte Grand Memo II
LTE and here it is!
ZTE’s new
Grand Memo II
LTE is just as large as it’s predessor with a whopping 6-inch
display, but the package has been thinned out a little to just a 7.2mm chassis. The look of the new phablet is less rounded than the previous version and
ZTE have worked on reducing the overall footprint so more
display and less body takes up the front.
Under the large 720p panel are the guts of a mid-range phone. A Snapdragon 400 chipset runs the phone with
2GB RAM, it's also the Qualcomm chip which bring 4G
LTE to the phone.
ZTE have also added Gorilla Glass 3 to the phone, 13 mega-pixel main
camera, 5 mega-pixel rear,
2GB RAM and 3200mAh battery.
Fans of stock Android installs might want to look away as
ZTE have brought their own custom ROM the Memo ! Named MiFavor 2.3, the OS boasts a new
camera app, and a cool split screen mode allowing 2
apps to run at once.
