Oppo Find 5 Quad-core leaked 12 mega-pixel camera, Qualcomm CPU, 2GB RAM!

The battle of the domestic Chinese quad-core phones is now officially on! The contenders are the Meizu MX, Xiaomi M2, KTouch, Huawei Ascend and now the all new Oppo Find 5 quad-core! Keep reading for the Oppo Find 5 Quad-core specification!

The Oppo Finder 3 really burst on to the Android phone scene early this year! Not only was it one of the first commercially available dual-core android phones in China, but it also managed to become the world’s thinnest smartphone phone measuring in at just 6.65mm. Oh and there was the time we saw the Oppo Finder 3 used as a hammer!

But, with the Xiaomi M2 launching last week and with Huawei and other Chinese phone makers rekindling their quad-core torches, the dual-core Oppo is looking a little tired!

Never fear though as Oppo have an all new Android phone to replace the dual-core Finder 3, and it looks to be every as bit as awesome as the Xiaomi M2!

Gizchina News of the week

The Oppo Find 5, as the new Oppo phone is currently known is a quad-core Android phone running the same Qualcomm APQ8064 4-core processor as the Xiaomi M2, in fact the similarities don’t end there as the new Oppo Find 5 quad-core also boasts a full 2GB RAM, and front 2 mega-pixel front camera.

However that’s where the similarities between the Xiaomi M2 and quad-core Oppo Find 5 end though as the new Oppo has certainly leveled up in many other area!

Like the Oppo Finder 3 the Find 5 will have a very thin body, but this time measuring at 6.9mm, the screen will be a 4.5 inch IPS display with a 1280 x 720 resolution and to keep all of that going there will be a 2500mAh battery built-in!

However it’s the rear camera where Oppo might really hurt Xiaomi’s M2! While Xiaomi have decided to use a high-end 8 mega-pixel rear camera, Oppo have decided to go full next generation and are planning to launch the Find 5 with a 12 mega-pixel rear camera!

Pricing for the Oppo Find 5 is expected to be a little higher than the 1999 Yuan Xiaomi M2 and could cost as much as 2400 Yuan which is still cheaper than the Meizu MX 4-core!

Those are all the details we have for now, but we’ll bring you more news as we get it!

I am amazed too how far the chinese manufacturers are getting lately. And with the pricing I must say briliant!Only concern for me and my family is the huge sar values that these phones produce and could be harmful as i did see some tests on youtube lately and was 600 times higher.Andy can you get some more info on this issue from the manufacturer at least for this phone,or the xiaomi?Might be a good idea to post it whenever possible.

Now I’m really starting to forget Jiayu G3 and thinking of other models. I think the best alternative to Jiayu now is to forget the G3 model (or count the G2 with Mtk6577 as G3) and invest in the next generation. Launch a mobile outdated now is a shot in the foot.

Screw the SIII, this if the Oppo Find 5 launches with these specs, then this will be my ideal phone – everything I love in one device, no flaws – just perfect.

Isn’t the Oppo’s IPS display better than the Xiaomi’s Sharp AVS, which is, in fact, just an improved TN technology?

How does the international community of developers for appliances from Oppo? It is equal to the Xiaomi? I’m from Brazil, and here the MIUI has great support! Sorry for the horrible English!

Sony Xperia V has 13 Mp + 16x Zoom though Battery is 1700Mah . What about the Zoom of this phone Find5? I think apple get a jolt and tough competition this time.
