Purported Meizu E leak looks just like the MX6

A video claiming to show the new Meizu E flagship has been posted online, but appears to show a phone exactly the same as the Meizu MX6.

This video (follow link) claims to show the first glimpse of the real Meizu E smartphone, a device Chinese media are calling the ā€œ10,000 Yuan flagshipā€(not for the price but for the wish list specs leaks claim it has).

If you watched the video and thought ā€œhang on, that looks familiarā€ then you arenā€™t the only ones as we also believe the phone in the leaks looks exactly the same as the recently launched Meizu MX6.

Gizchina News of the week

Rumours for the Meizu E say the phone will run a Samsung Exynos 8890 chipset, 2K curved display, all metal body, front fingerprint scanner and dual camera design like the Xiaomi Redmi Pro and Huawei P9.

The only similarities to the rumours the phone in this video have are the metal body and fingerprint scanner location.

Meizu are already sending out invitations for the Meizu ā€œEā€ launch, the event will be held on the 10th of August when we will finally learn everything we need to know about this mystery device.

You insist on focusing on the fake rumors when leaks that are in tune with this one have also been out there.
Guess i’ll say it again here, on FB Meizu is teasing the M3E. M would be for Meilan so budget. It’s not Note so maybe it’s 5 inch.
P10 at 1.8GHz and 1080p are the most credible rumors so far.

Its going to be a Meizu Metal Edge with a Helio processor, most likely the P10, maybe the P20 if it’s available. There is little credible evidence to suggest it’s actually a Exnyos, especially with Meizu themselves repeatedly saying they won’t be using it due to it not supporting every network in China.
