On the Zopo Facebook page they have a link to the Antutu results. I am a bit confused with all the memory specs but as far as I can understand the ZP900 states 4Gb Rom and the Antutu test has 4Gb but the ZP300 specs, and this article, also states 4Gb Rom but the Antutu has it at 2Gb. I may have this wrong and I would love an explanation to what each memory spec is for. I constantly run out of room for apps on my Huawei Duece U8520, stating only around 150mb available. It’s specs are :- Internal 150 MB, 512 MB ROM, 256 MB RAM? Zopo’s site says ZP300 “Internal phone storage: 4GBMB ROM”. Help?

it’s 4gb, but after loading the ROM and system overhead, you have about 2gb free…it’s way more than what you have now with your Deuce

Cheers for clearing that up Damian πŸ™‚

I hate the ZP500 Libero gets the MTK6577. I greatly prefer the looks and most of all, the price of the Libero to the Field.

This once again shows that zopo is much more professional than most of its competition like jiayu etc !

I have been researching my next Android phone for the past month and the Zopo ZP300+ is on my shortlist of possibilities (JiaYu G3 was also but is taking a bit long). Like Snorlax above I have a Huawei Deuce U8520 (Aus) and it’s very memory-limited (besides a few other quirks).
Just need to clear up whether the ZP300+ supports WCDMA 900MHz or not. Zopo Mobile Shop says it has 3G on 850/2100 MHz only, while Etotalk site says 3G on 850/900/1900/2100 MHz. Which one is correct, or are there different models for different shops and markets? Thanks.

It’s official I’m done with American phones. These are saving me so much money. I have a few questions:

On the Zopo website, it states, “root service + delete all chinese apps” If we don’t select this service does it mean we won’t get the real google play store, what benefits does this have?

Are the memory cards real 8gb,16gb, and 32gb? What do they mean by adding Euro maps?

If anyone can answer these 2 questions for me, I’d appreciate it, thanks!

zp300 should come with HDMI, but many places dont tell this. I dont know if this is true or not.

    • August 25, 2012

That would be nice @ozp but it doesn’t come with one sorry

I hope the Zopo upgrade their ZP500 to a MTK6577, its so hard to find a slimmer, lighter china MTK6577 smartphone.

    • August 25, 2012

I imagine they will, but they’ll prob update the Zp900 and others to quad-cores first.

zp300+ has an LG brand screen and Sony camera… and just because you found the THL W3 at ONE site for cheaper than zp300+, doesn’t mean it’s the case for all shops… on aliexpress they are more or less the same price…some places have the THL W3 for MORE than the zp300+

as far as I know, zp300+ does NOT have HDMI..it’s the zp200 that has HDMI πŸ™

yes, i also would love for zp500 OR zp100 to come with the 6577… i think it will happen!!

Is it true that Zopo is not a factory and that Hero are the same phones as Zopo?

    • August 25, 2012

The factory behind Hero and Zopo are the same yep, but some phone specs are a little different

Great news I have ordered mine in white – I think it was released a little earlier than expected.

I will go with the ZP300+ primarily because Zopo offer great after sales support in English for a Chinese phone manufacturer. Their sales page has been updated to confirm that the ZP300+ will be updated to Jelly Bean (4.1) which is great to know.

Hi there Andi, i’ll be a little “off topic” but do you know know anything about the roadmap of the Mtk 6585 (dual core) and the Mtk 6588 (quad core) new Soc’s? I’ve been seing here and there some specs but there’s nothing about when they will be on the market…

    • August 26, 2012

I’m not sure on the actual dates, but I’ve heard rumors that we will be seeing Quad-core MTK chips on the market very soon!
