UMi X1 Get’s Network License Ahead of JiaYu G3


While those of us who have a JiaYu G3 pre-ordered patiently wait of JiaYu to get their network license, those lucky UMi X1 boys have just gotten a step closer to receiving there dual-core MT6577 phones.

According to the latest news surrounding this slimmed down JiaYu G3, the UMi X1 received it’s network license on the 28th August, which means it has basically been green lit by the Chinese authorities for sale across China and will likely go on sale very soon!

If you didn’t already know the UMi X1 features a 4.5inch 1280 x720 screen, a dual-core MT6577 CPU, 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM. It also gets a pretty good front and rear camera along with a tempered glass display which offers similar strength to Gorilla Glass!

The UMi X1 has already received well over 57,000 pre-orders here in China thanks to it’s high performance specification and very low cost of $139 for the pre-order purchases but will increase to 1099 Yuan $173 once they reach stores.
